Policies and Info
Must be 18 years+ to book a tattoo.
ID/ proof of age could be requested at appointment.
To book an appointment you must complete the booking forum here
*** Reminder: ***
Our studio has a strict ‘no-guest’ policy for a variety of reasons.
We do not allow friends/ family members to tag along if they do not have their own tattoo appointment booked in.
This policy also includes the person driving you to and from your tattoo appointment, please plan accordingly.
Children are not allowed in the studio at any time.
Deposit Policy:
A $100 deposit is required to secure an appointment slot — The deposit will come off the final price of your tattoo. Appointments are not booked unless a deposit is received.
This deposit pays for drawing time/ appointment prep and discourages last minute cancellations
— you must give a minimum of 4 days if you need to reschedule.
If you don’t give this notice when rescheduling, you forfeit your deposit. Cancellations within this time frame also result in forfeit of deposit.
This also applies to design changes and add-ons
— design idea must be confirmed at booking time and cannot drastically change or include add-ons not previously discussed during booking. It will be at my discretion if a change is too drastic and if appointment will need to be rescheduled/deposit is forfeited.
I cannot stress this enough,
— deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE; NO MATTER THE REASON FOR RESCHEDULING/CANCELLING.
Please do not book an appointment if you are not 100% certain.
You can put a deposit down by
- using the link I send you via email
- making an appointment to come by the studio to pay for the deposit in person.
Once your deposit is received, you will be officially booked in — even if we have discussed a day, your appointment is not booked into my schedule without the deposit, I don’t hold dates for more than a few hours
Tattoo pricing and info:
My current rate is $160/hour (plus tax)— anything under an hour will be charged my minimum rate of $125 (plus tax). **This pricing was updated as of May 2024**
I will always give a time estimate for tattoos as well as an estimate of pricing.
I cannot guarantee exact timing/pricing, as there are so many factors that can affect this during a tattoo such as;
— someone’s ability to sit still/pain tolerance,
— different skin has different texture, this can cause a tattoo to take longer sometimes,
— changes made to the tattoo sizing the day appointment and many more.
Pre-drawn designs:
These can be found in a separate highlight on my page. They will be priced per hour or given a flat rate — these will usually be designed at set sizes.
These designs come as is, they cannot be changed. They are designed in a style that I really want to add to my portfolio.
If you see a design you like, but would like changes, I would love to draw a custom design for you, but they will be charged at an hourly rate.
To claim a pre-drawn design, a deposit is required.
Late/ No Show Policy:
Being too late, or not showing up for your appointment with zero notice is an automatic forfeit of your deposit.
If you are more than 15-30 minutes late for your appointment, you may need to be rescheduled as this can throw my schedule off if I have a back to back day — Please let me know if you are going to be late;
I may have the ability to be flexible, but likely your appointment will need to be rescheduled and a new deposit will be needed to rebook.
There is zero tolerance for a “no show”. If you do not show up for your appointment, and do not give any notice, your deposit is forfeited and you will need to put down another deposit to re-book.
If you “no show” a touch up appointment, you will be required to put down a deposit to re-book your touch up. If you miss your second touch up appointment, a minimum tattoo charge will be required.
*These policies are subject to change in order to accommodate all situations that may arise.*
Tips for your tattoo appointment:
Eat before you come and bring water, Gatorade, snacks, etc, to keep you fuelled up. Also, feel free to ask for a lunch break if needed!
Get a good sleep and avoid alcohol the night before your appointment. Getting a good sleep can help you have more energy to push through the tattoo pain for longer. Having alcohol in your system from the night before can cause you to bleed more during the tattoo process which could cause the tattoo to take more time as it is difficult to saturate skin with ink when it is bleeding more than it normally would.
DO NOT apply numbing cream to your skin without asking your artist beforehand. I personally will not tattoo someone that has used numbing cream, as it changes the texture of the skin and makes the tattoo process harder, which can also cause the tattoo to take longer. Most numbing creams only work for a small mount of time and wear off quickly. I use sometimes offer light numbing spray on larger scale tattoos in case it is needed.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow access to the part of your body that is getting tattooed. Layers are always good or I suggest bringing a blanket as your temperature can fluctuate under the stress of the tattoo pain.
Bring things to keep yourself occupied, especially if you are coming for a longer appointment. Having head phones, movies/tv shows downloaded on your phone or tablet, a book...etc, can help keep you distracted from the tattoo process.
